![]() ![]() Many producers abuse Subliminal devices the wrong way.The Subliminals should hit you at the spot where they will work for you.The brain waves must be at the right frequency to put you in the proper state of mind. That means they must be recorded in the correct frequencies with perfect tones in the background. It relies on who produces the Subliminal and whether it was made correctly or not.įor Subliminals to work, they must be recorded accurately. Incorrectly Made or Poorly Made Subliminals I agree with everything on this post, and I wanted to add a reason on why this may be.1. It ends up moving onto unrelated subliminals as well, I was using a FTM sub and it had affirmations for becoming a uzzlang, speaking fluent korean, learning korean, moving to korea, looking asian, I- what? I come here to flatten my chest and change my hormonal balance and sexual organs (quite literally), not change my ethnicity or culture! ![]() My (ex)friend wanted to STARVE HERSELF so she could go and live in Korea (due to the extreme weight standards they have). There’s nothing wrong with listening to BTS, EXO, Girls Generation, GOT7 (hopefully i spelled that one right), Loona? Or well whatever else kpoppers listen to, in fact, a lot of my friends are kpop stans! What’s wrong is not acknowledging the toxicity that comes from fetishization of asian culture or ethnicity. Ultimately it’s a kpop community problem that, like a pest, affected ours as well, as the kpop fandom is so wide, it also forms part of others, and this time, it includes us. People will only date someone due to their race, won’t have non asian friends, wish they were asian, and so much more. ![]() And so the problems with the kpop community came to the subliminal community, and asian fetishization is one of them. Videos have korean idols on thumbnails or the video itself, videos have BTS music, fancams, it’s unavoidable. Whether it’s from Twitter, TikTok, or just because a sub maker used a kpop idol or a kpop song which made more people check it out and become interested in it, kpop is impossible to avoid in the sub community. I feel like the reason for this is the Subliminal Community has been mostly overthrown by the kpop community. It’ll probably take years but that’s enough motivation to start today right? Share to We can work towards stopping the normalization of fetishizing minorities and Asianfishing so the number of ethnicity sub users drop over time. Now I don’t believe that this petition or even this blog will stop ethnicity sub users, but I still think we should all speak up more on this for the future of our lovely community. There’s obviously a chance this won’t work, but nothing will change if we don’t even bother trying. If we can show sub makers proof that there is a large amount of people that want ethnicity subs removed maybe they will. I’m saying we can use our strength in numbers to pressure them into removing ethnicity subliminals. When I say, “pressure sub makers” by no means am I saying go harass them. What I can say confidently is that I have hope. Now will it work? I can’t confidently say yes, absolutely. So please don’t make assumptions or twist my words to prove your point. I also don’t think that more important problems can justify FETISHIZING minorities and ASIANFISHING. There are countless more important problems in the world, this definitely isn’t one of them, but that shouldn’t mean I’m not allowed to speak up on it. Just because I’ve spoken about an issue in the community does not mean I’m saying it’s the only issue or the most important one. I wanted to talk about that real quick.įirst of all, I did not create the petition to undermine all of the others. Some people think by doing that I’ve invalidated other important petitions, others think it just won’t work. I’ve gotten a lot of mixed messages regarding the petition I made. (This next one can be beneficial in a number of ways) Try avoiding using “ulzzangs” for your aesthetic. Follow more influencers, celebrities, and models that are similar to you. You can change your “virtual surroundings”. I think it’s safe to assume you all don’t live in a neighborhood with tons of pretty ulzzangs, but you are bombarded by them online and even in this community. ![]() After moving and being surrounded by people like me, I definitely learned to love my race and ethnicity. I was surrounded by light skin and straight hair and I longed to look like them. While I was lucky enough to have not experienced racism during those years, I was surrounded by people who looked nothing like me. When I was young I used to despise my dark skin and curly hair. I’ve seen a few people say that they feel disconnected to their race/ethnicity and, to that I say form a connection! All culture is equally beautiful, you just need to learn to appreciate it. ![]()
